Here is a sampling of the music I was listening to in the late 80s
and early 90s. It was all obtained from my favorite public radio station
WDET and I recorded a lot of what I liked onto cassette tapes. I
recently unearthed these tapes in my basement and have been transferring
them to .wma format on my PC. On this tune I am sorry as I know neither
the name of the song nor the artist responsible for this unique tune.
The song has a set of notes that sound like ball bearings being dropped
on a metal bar (my description), or perhaps a piano wire - I am not sure
but, the sound is woven into the music very intricately and this is the
first of three movements. I am assuming they are all by the same artist.
Here is the
second of the three part mini suite of songs by this unknown artist. I
have added the
third and final movement
of this unknown artist and, the sound is similar to part one except it
is in a much lower register, and very dark and mysterious sounding. Please bear with the fact that these were recorded on an older model
cassette and the tapes have been in storage over ten years. There is
some hum and static at times , but the music is worth a listen IMHO!!
Enjoy! If anyone is familiar with this artist or song
please contact
me and I will give the credits accordingly.
